Throughout my career I have had the privilege of teaching in University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in social policy, social work, systemic family therapy, social science and social studies. I have experience supervising postgraduate dissertations and as a social work tutor for the Masters in Social Science (Social Work) placements.
In the past I was a member of the Executive Committee for the Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI).
I regularly attend systemic therapy supervision, online therapy supervision, continued professional development and my own personal therapy. This allows me to stay professionally compliant, informed, curious, reflective and self-aware.
